National Dentist’s Day, celebrated on March 6th, aims to raise awareness about good oral hygiene, prevent diseases, and encourage regular dental visits. Take this opportunity to celebrate the day by switching to a new toothbrush, using the 2-2-2 method for effective brushing, and booking an appointment with your dentist for your annual check-up and professional cleaning. Remember, prevention is both better and more affordable than repair. Call us at Clinica Dental Noruega (+34 952 476 880) or email us at info@clinica-dental-noruega.com to book your appointment.

Closed February 27th.
On Friday, February 27th, Clinica Dental Noruega will be closed as we get an early start on celebrating Día de Andalucía. Why that? (Andalusia Day), which falls on a Saturday this year.
Why do we celebrate this day? This day commemorates the historic referendum held on February 28, 1980, when the people voted for Andalusia to become an autonomous region in Spain. It is a day filled with pride for our region’s culture, history, and traditions. You will see the green and white flag flying everywhere, and it is customary to enjoy a traditional breakfast of toasted bread with olive oil.
We will be back to our regular hours on Monday, March 2nd. If you would like to book an appointment while we are closed, please email us at info@clinica-dental-noruega.com.
We wish all our patients a wonderful weekend!
Toothbrush Replacement Day
Time to update your bathroom cabinet? 🪥
February 13th marks the unofficial, yet very important, Toothbrush Replacement Day. The purpose of this day is to remind us that a toothbrush doesn’t last forever and that good oral health starts with the right tools.
A toothbrush should be replaced approximately every three months, or sooner if the bristles start to fray. A worn-out brush not only does a poorer job of removing plaque, but it can also become a breeding ground for bacteria. A great tip is to also replace your brush immediately after you’ve been sick to avoid reinfection.
Celebrate the day by giving yourself (and your teeth) a fresh start with a new brush!
Remember to use the 2-2-2-2 method when brushing your teeth:
- 2 centimeters of toothpaste on the brush.
- Brush for 2 minutes.
- Do it 2 times a day!
- Do not eat for 2 hours after brushing your teeth.
Santa Apolonia – The Patron Saint of Dentists
Santa Apolonia is known as the patron saint of both dentists and anyone suffering from a toothache. Her feast day falls on February 9th and is an important date for the dental profession in Spain.
Legend has it that Apolonia was a Christian woman in 3rd-century Alexandria who refused to renounce her faith. As punishment, her teeth were shattered, which is why she later became the symbol of dental health. In Spanish folklore, it has long been a tradition to pray to her—”¡Santa Apolonia!”—to seek relief when a tooth aches. However, at Clinica Dental Noruega, we recommend focusing on preventive dental care instead. Brush your teeth at least morning and night, and visit your dentist annually for a check-up and cleaning. Prevention is both cheaper and better than fixing damage caused by neglect.
Dental Fear Awareness Day.
Dare to Smile Again! On August 24th, we acknowledge Dental Fear Awareness Day.
Do you feel a pang of anxiety when you think about the dentist? Or do you have a family member who finds a dental visit downright unpleasant? You are far from alone. In fact, approximately one in five adults is afraid of going to the dentist.
We at Clinica Dental Noruega know how difficult it can feel. Our primary goal is to change your and your loved ones’ perception of dentistry—to transform anxiety into a positive and secure experience.
With us, you are in safe hands.
Our entire team actively works to make your time with us as pleasant as possible. Our dentists take the time to inform you about every step of the treatment before it even begins. As the patient, you always have the final say and full control. You are the one who decides if a treatment should start and which solution feels best for you.
All our staff, from the first contact to the completed treatment, do their utmost to ensure you experience your visit as pleasant and relaxed, not as something uncomfortable.
Let us help you take the step towards a healthier mouth and a carefree smile.
